Job Description

The Director of Marketing oversees all marketing, communications and content initiatives, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive leads, sales, engagement, retention and positive customer behavior, all in support of aggressive revenue growth.

This individual is an expert in all things related to content and channel optimization, brand consistency, segmentation and localization, analytics and resource planning and allocation.



Requirements

  • Design, implement and support all tenets of the company marketing plan in support of the strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and manage marketing operating budgets and forecasts.
  • Develop and manage resource allocation plans, including people, systems.
  • Effectively leverage cutting edge CRM, Ecommerce and Automated Lead Generation Systems to maximize output and MROI. (i.e. Salesforce.com)
  • Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities including online, print and direct mail, across multiple internal and external channels.


Skills & Qualifications

  • The ability to lead and inspire teams of creative personnel and content creators to achieve the company's stated goals.
  • Capacity to define and manage a set of goals involving diverse contributors and content types.
  • Very high levels of initiative and integrity.
  • An agile outlook on daily issue and a willingness to embrace change and to adapt strategies on the fly.
  • BS/BA in Marketing or related field, MBA preferred
  • 10 years marketing experience with an emphasis on multichannel content creation.
  • 2 years’ experience at director level or 5 years’ experience as a marketing manager.
