Job Description

Position Summary:

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as phone support, customer and  staff training, instrument/reagent support, and documentation of customer contacts. 

Assisting customers by telephone with resolutions to problems or inquires related to products or instrumentation

Conducti in house testing of instrument hardware, software or reagents

Interact with other staff or departments, when necessary, for information to assist in investigation and resolution of issues

Shift is: Friday-Sunday 7am-7pm

Qualifications

Associate's/Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Technician, Biology or Microbiology

Blood bank laboratory experience

MT/MLT(ASCP)

Ability to work irregular hours, including working after-hours on-call, evenings, weekends and holidays

Typing, Computer experience
