Job Description

Pride Health is seeking candidates for a Laboratory Call Center Representative with a well-known healthcare and research institution in Phoenix, AZ.  This is a 1-year TEMP-TO-HIRE assignment, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm. 

As a Call Center Rep in the lab, you will be responsible for efficiently and effectively managing a heavy volume of incoming laboratory telephone calls.

Responsibilities

  • Sorts and directs the calls to the appropriate individuals.
  • Serves as informational representative of clinical departments/divisions and answers general laboratory questions.
  • Provides customer service and check-in for outpatient lab services.
  • Handles and processes specimens, pulls blood and urine samples for add-on tests.
  • Builds sent out kits.
  • Performs record reviews.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned. 

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school education or GED equivalent.
  • Graduation from an accredited Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • Previous call center and laboratory experience is required.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional computer skills are required.
