Russell Tobin is currently hiring for a Nursing Home Reimbursement & Recovery Associate Attorney for a full-service law firm in Lake Success, NY. This firm offers the legal expertise of its 120+ attorneys, who have accumulated experience and problem-solving skills over decades of practice. They are a vibrant, busy, and growing full-service law firm and looking to increase its talented ranks of attorneys by adding this person to the team.

JOB SUMMARY:

This candidate must be knowledgeable in Collections Litigation in some sort of medical/healthcare setting such as with Private Practice Doctor's Offices, Hospitals, Group Homes, and Medical Insurance. Some key areas of collections focus are Guardianship, 3rd Party Reimbursement, Medicaid, Medicare, and State Recovery. This person will be working on a team of about 10-12 people, including 3-4 Partners, and 3-4 Paralegals. The successful candidate will want to acquire the skills and confidence needed to become a proficient litigator by handling his or her own docket with readily available hands-on guidance and mentoring. 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in New York State
• 2-4 years’ experience of collections litigation in medical/healthcare setting
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in an effective manner.
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills
• Proficiency with MS Word and Outlook

Rate/Salary: 95,000 - 125,000
