Job Description

Human Resources Coordinator for Leave of Absences and Credentialing.

Administer, facilitate and track Family Medical Leave of Absences (FMLA), medical leaves, and NYS Paid Family Leaves.  Coordinate, track and monitor credentialing of licenses/registrations and certifications for applicable professional staff.  Develop correspondence, review and track applicable documentation to ensure compliance, develop and prepare reports from ADP and day to day HR tasks.  Serve as a subject matter expert regarding leave of absences as it relates to federal, state and local laws, company policies and collective bargaining agreements.  Communicate and interact with all department leaders and employees across the organization.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Human Resources or a related field with at least 3 years of progressively responsible HR experience is required. Benefits experience preferred. C.E.B.S., PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification and familiarity with 1199 SEIU unions a plus.  Must be a detail-oriented team player who possesses excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, conflict resolution and writing skills. Must have strong knowledge of MicroSoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
