Job Title: Brand/Category Manager
Location: 1 Bowerman Drive, Beaverton, OR 97005, United States (Hybrid)
Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $45 - $52 per hour
Job Overview:
Join us as a Brand/Category Manager to elevate our brand presence and lead impactful product initiatives. In this dynamic role, you will shape our brand perception and optimize product assortments to meet evolving market demands and business goals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive strategy, product planning, and market impact through well-coordinated launches and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Define brand identity, positioning, and messaging to resonate with target audiences.

Product Assortment Planning:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product assortments based on market trends and consumer needs.
- Conduct market analysis to identify product gaps and opportunities.

Product Launches:
- Lead initiatives for product launches, coordinating efforts with marketing, sales, and operations teams.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to maximize product success.

Market Research:
- Conduct research on consumer preferences, industry trends, and competitors.
- Use insights to inform brand positioning and category management.

Supplier Collaboration:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate terms and collaborate on initiatives to enhance product offerings.

Promotions and Campaigns:
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns to drive brand awareness and product sales.
- Align campaign efforts with overall brand strategy.

Performance Analysis:
- Monitor brand and category performance, leveraging KPIs to gauge effectiveness.
- Make data-driven recommendations to refine strategies and improve outcomes.

Budget Management:
- Manage budgets for brand and category initiatives.
- Ensure optimal resource allocation to maximize project impact.

Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of directly relevant experience.

Alternative Qualifications:
- PhD or Law degree with 3 years of relevant experience
- Master’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience
- Associate’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience
- High School diploma with 7 years of relevant experience
