Associate Chemical Inventory Specialist
What are we looking for in our Associate Chemical Inventory Specialist?
The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class pharmaceutical organization that has an opening for an Associate Chemical Inventory Support Specialist near Cambridge, MA!
Responsibilities
- Handle the pickup, delivery, washing, and sanitization of biologically contaminated glassware and plastic ware according to established procedures.
- Operate autoclaves for decontamination. Prepare items for sanitization and inspect glassware for cleanliness and defects.
- Distribute requested chemicals and verify SDS documents. Log all compounds and manage transportation of hazardous goods.
- Deliver gas cylinders and related items.
- Participate in audits and inspections.
- Manage incoming packages and laboratory consumables inventory.
- Adhere to safety protocols, complete required trainings, and undertake cross-training as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Experience in a laboratory environment
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Preferred Experience:
- Associates or bachelor's degree in a scientific field
- Inventory management experience, specifically chemical inventory
Additional Details:
- Onsite position
- Position type: 3 months with possible conversion
- Pay rate: $20-23/hr depending on experience
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
