Pay rate: $70 - $75/hr. DOE
Role Info:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to support our marketing measurement and insights program. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering business and channel-level analysis and insights, identifying trends to enable optimization, and driving strategic initiatives to identify opportunities for growth. This role requires strong data analysis and market research skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep dives into campaign performance to make well-informed decisions and key learnings backed by data, ensuring that insights are actionable and aligned with business objectives.
- Develop quantitative analysis, tools, ad hoc reports, and models to support marketing decision making. Analysis areas may include (but not limited to): ROI, retention, sentiment, lifetime value, pipeline, revenue, usage, and engagement.
- Partner with our marketing, data scientists, data engineers, and product team to scope, design, execute, track, and improve the impact of our marketing effort.
- Identify and implement streamlined processes for data reporting and communication.
- Deep dive into campaign performance to extract key learnings and common themes, then collaborate with product and marketing stakeholders to inform on best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional data and product teams across business applications to define problem statements, access and manipulate data, build analytical models, explain data-gathering requirements, deliver analytics insights, and make recommendations
- Identify and implement streamlined processes for data reporting and communication, and use analytical models to identify insights to drive key decisions across leadership and the organization
- Drive strategic initiatives to identify opportunities for growth and ad-hoc analysis to investigate specific questions (churn, ROI) and learning agenda
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in data analytics, marketing analytics, data science, or similar equivalent fields, with proficiency in SQL, Hive, or other data querying languages, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Experience in extracting, cleaning, and manipulating data to build data sets and reports.
- Experience in communicating with cross-functional stakeholders including brand strategists, marketing researchers, product marketing managers, and engineers.
- Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and quickly adapt to deliver results, such as spearheading new projects, supporting product launch, or building new teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record in leveraging data to influence monetization strategies from a product, organizational, or company-wide perspective. Experience in identifying and executing monetization opportunities that align with strategic goals.
- Statistical modeling and data analysis experience (e.g. significance testing, regression modeling, sampling theory, etc.)
- Management consulting experience or a similar career requiring one to present data-driven insights to business audiences
