Senior Data Analyst

PrideNow San Francisco, CA (Onsite) Full-Time



What are we looking for in our Senior Data Analyst?

Location: San Francisco (hybrid/remote)

Duration: 6+ months (Potential conversion)

Pay Range : $60-65/hr. on W2 Depending on experience

 

Job Duties:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify key business questions and translate them into actionable analytics projects.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to extract valuable insights and trends, leveraging various data sources and analytical tools.
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and reliability for analytical purposes.
  • Communicate complex analytical findings effectively to business leaders and stakeholders through compelling presentations and reports.
  • Drive decision-making processes by providing data-driven recommendations and solutions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization through data analysis.

 

Skills:   

  • 5+ years of pertinent data analyst experience, with a track record of creating and maintaining data models, conducting end-to-end analyses for subscription/SaaS businesses, and contributing to reporting systems and automation within intricate organizational structures. Adaptable to a fast-paced environment, adept at swiftly delivering actionable insights.
  • Expertise in Data Manipulation/SQL: Demonstrated proficiency in querying and manipulating extensive datasets for analytical purposes using SQL-like languages (experience with Hive/Hadoop/Databricks preferred). Familiarity with Python is advantageous.
  • Analytical Prowess: Possess a strong aptitude for analytical and quantitative problem-solving, enabling the extraction of valuable insights from complex data.
  • Communication and Influence: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, allowing for effective influence and decision-making across cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Comfortable collaborating with technical resources to ensure data and analyses align with business objectives and logic.
  • Project Management Proficiency: Strong project management and planning abilities, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently within a fast-paced environment.
  • Innovative Problem Solver: A proactive problem solver who challenges the status quo and promotes innovative thinking throughout the organization.
  • Data Visualization Skills: Proficient in data visualization and storytelling techniques, utilizing tools such as Power BI, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel to convey insights effectively.

 

Education:   

  • BS and/or MS in Computer Science / IT / relevant field
  • Professional Experience: 5+ years of pertinent data analyst experience, with a track record of creating and maintaining data models, conducting end-to-end analyses for subscription/SaaS businesses, and contributing to reporting systems and automation within intricate organizational structures. Adaptable to a fast-paced environment, adept at swiftly delivering actionable insights.
