Description:
Manages warehouse operations including shipment, requisition, and storage of materials, supplies, and equipment. Coordinates material flow within a manufacturing organization and oversees shipping and receiving.
About this role:
We seek a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team, supporting our commitment to healthy, safe, and sustainable building and cold chain solutions. You'll supervise a team in Materials & Logistics, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse inventory and records
- Lead clerical team including inventory and logistics support
- Conduct daily safety inspections
- Track and resolve quality issues
- Monitor yard trailer movement and communication
- Support continuous improvement efforts
- Partner with union leadership for issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with procedures and regulations
- Manage hourly associates and drive engagement
- Use tools to improve production processes
- Ensure EH&S standards are followed
- Flexibility for all shifts and weekend overtime
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in warehousing, production, or planning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading hourly associates, preferably in a union environment
- Strong leadership abilities with a sense of urgency
- Result-oriented with multitasking skills
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to work cross-functionally
Additional Job Specifications:
- On-site
- 2nd shift, 2PM - 10PM
- Overtime may be required.
Rate/Salary: $14.00/hour - $17.00/hour
