What are we looking for in our Ecologist?

I have partnered with a leading Consultancy Service in finding them an Ecologist to join their Arboricultural team!

Position Overview:

As a Surveying Ecologist, you will be instrumental in efforts to assess and monitor the ecological health of various habitats. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive ecological surveys to assess species diversity and abundance.
• Collecting and analyzing data on habitat characteristics and environmental parameters.
• Identifying and documenting rare or endangered species within survey areas.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to inform conservation and management strategies.
• Contributing to research projects aimed at understanding and mitigating environmental threats.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Ecology, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Experience conducting ecological surveys and field research.
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis techniques.
• Strong knowledge of local flora and fauna and their ecological interactions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
