What are we looking for in our Process Technician ?

Job Title: Process Technician (Temporary to Permanent)

Pay Rate: $22/hr - $24/hr

Shift Hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Night Shift)

Shift Differential: $1.00/hr for night shift

Proposed Schedule: Front End (Sun-Tues, Alt Sat) / Back End (Wed-Fri, Alt Sat)

Degree Requirements: No degree requirements, but prefer 2 years of experience in semiconductor fab or similar lab. Interest in semiconductor technology and manufacturing equipment is desirable.

Job Description:

As a Process Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting senior engineers and technologists in developing processes on advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Executing passdowns from engineers, including following instructions, preparing FOUPS, running experiments, and submitting wafers for metrology.
• Handling submission wafers for SEM work, retrieving coupons post SEM work, and verifying zero loss of material.
• Demonstrating good communication skills to notify process engineers of any issues with passdowns and executing revised passdowns once errors are recovered. Providing daily passdown summaries and feedback to engineering.
• Comfortably learning equipment software and process recipe structure, and performing basic troubleshooting of equipment issues. Clearing errors to continue passdowns or submitting service requests for equipment maintenance.
• Maintaining housekeeping of the work areas by submitting new wafers for pre-metrology and used wafers for reclaim.
• Exporting data from equipment and metrology tools and depositing it in a database.
• Demonstrating basic knowledge of the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office tools.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in semiconductor fab or similar lab environment preferred.
• Interest in semiconductor technology and manufacturing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Comfortable working night shifts and alternating weekend schedules.
