ESS/ICT Engineer

What are we looking for in our ESS/ICT Engineer?

Russell Tobin is working with an internationally leading AEC firm to add to their growing team! We are looking for an experienced Electronic Security Systems/Information, Communication, and Technology Engineer that can be based out of Los Angeles or San Francisco. Responsibilities

• Lead the design and consulting efforts for ICT / Electronic Security Systems
• Integrate technical requirements into security design drawings/models, covering ICT, Access Control (ACS), intrusion detection systems (IDS), video surveillance systems (VSS), and more
• Stay updated on the latest ICT / ESS vendors and solutions, collaborating closely with clients and vendors to deliver exceptional solutions
• Produce technical reports, Basis of Design (BOD) narratives, and CSI Master format specifications
• Coordinate with clients, architects, and construction managers, ensuring seamless project execution
• Assist in proposal responses for new projects and support ongoing projects with additional service requests
• Contribute to resource allocation and financial forecasting on assigned projects
• Actively pursue new business opportunities and foster key client relationships

• Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in technical/STEM discipline or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of relevant work experience, preferably supporting DoD and/or Federal Government ICT infrastructure
• BICSI RCDD and/or ASIS PSP certification preferred, along with the ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and a local vendor/client network would be advantageous

Rate/Salary: $125,000-$165,000
