Employment Type: 6-Month Contract/Onsite

Pay rate: $41-$44/hr. DOE

Role Info:

• We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Sales Operations Analyst to join our team as a contractor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding our e-commerce operations by investigating and resolving chargeback disputes efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate cross-functionally (XFN) with teams including Sales, Engineering, Data Science and Operations to gather necessary information and resolve disputes.
• Manage and resolve chargeback disputes in a timely and efficient manner
• Investigate and analyze chargeback disputes to determine their validity and root causes.
• Utilize your strong analytical skills to perform deep dive analysis on transactional and customer data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to contest disputes.
• Proactively identify potential issues in the chargeback process and recommend solutions to mitigate risks.
• Pull and sanitize data from various sources to conduct comprehensive investigations and derive actionable insights.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Communicate with customers, merchants, and banks to gather information and resolve disputes
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
• Identify and address any fraudulent activity or patterns of abuse

Requirements/Skills:

• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct detailed investigations and data analysis.
• Experience in e-commerce and a solid understanding of e-commerce flows and the chargeback process.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (XFN) to achieve common goals.
• Proactive mindset with a strong ability to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Proficiency in pulling, sanitizing, and analyzing data using tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate complex findings and recommendations.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards (e.g. PCI-DSS, GDPR)
• Familiarity with payment processing systems and platforms
• Experience using data visualization tools to present insights (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience specifically in chargeback disputes management or fraud prevention within e-commerce.
• Familiarity with payment processing systems and platforms.
• Experience using data visualization tools to present insights (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excel: A spreadsheet software used for data analysis and manipulation
• SQL: A programming language used for managing and manipulating data in relational databases
• Payment processing systems and platforms
