Sr Project Engineer
What are we looking for in our Sr Project Engineer?
Overview:
Russel Tobin has partnered with an international organization to add to their growing team! The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for planning and managing capital growth, maintenance, and process improvement projects for company operations. This remote position requires extensive travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute multiple capital projects, ensuring safety and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Identify and evaluate productivity and cost improvement opportunities, collaborating with the CI/operations team to implement enhancements.
- Monitor key productivity metrics to optimize plant performance and identify further improvement opportunities.
- Document work and capture best practices for knowledge sharing and process optimization.
- Ensure proper engineering and integration of plant upgrades and equipment installations.
- Assess mechanical integrity of process equipment and infrastructure to develop replacement schedules for capital budgeting.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of project management or process improvement experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical documents and reports.
- Familiarity with various software applications, including Spreadsheet, Word Processing, Project Management, and Process simulation software.
- Knowledge of statutory, regulatory, and organizational procedures related to environmental protection and safety regulations.
Location: Remote, with up to 50% travel throughout the Northwestern US
Rate/Salary: $140,000-$160,000/year
