Systems Engineer

PrideNow Orlando, FL (Onsite) Full-Time



What are we looking for in our Systems Engineer?

Hybrid, 3-4 days onsite
Location: 210 Celebration Place, FL 34747, United States
12 Months contract with possible extension
Pays - $70 - $75/hr W2 (Depends Upon Experience)

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain Helm Charts and deployment requirements for Kubernetes (Rancher)
  • Ensure SSL Certificates across multiple domains are renewed timely without outages
  • Complete Akamai CDN implementations and updates
  • Diagnose and repair system outages
  • Triage and remediate security requirements across cloud and on-premises systems
  • Develop and maintain engineering and architectural standards for on-premise/hybrid computing, storage, and data protection services
  • Provide system reports on both a regular and ad-hoc basis.
  • Assist in the creation and documentation of day-to-day operational procedures.

    Basic Qualification
  • Carries and maintains a relevant and up to date skill set in the areas of Linux, Windows, VMware, clustering technologies, resilient infrastructure design, and deployment and automation.
  • Individual must be highly resourceful and independent with the ability to quickly learn multiple disciplines and achieve manufacturer certification levels
  • Ability to describe and differentiate the features, benefits, and disadvantages of competing virtualization and cloud platforms
  • Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products.
  • Improve automation and productivity of provisioning and maintenance through scripting enhancements
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in multiple Public Cloud providers like AWS, Google Cloud Services, Azure and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

    Preferred Qualifications
    o Rancher Kubernetes Containerization Experience
    o Akamai (CDN)
    o Containerization Experience (Docker or Kubernetes)
    o AVI Load balance Experience
    o Global On-Call Experience Enterprise Support
