We're currently seeking a skilled Automation Engineer (Utility Systems) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Utility Automation Control systems such as Waste Water Treatment plant PLC/SCADA system, Utility Automation OEM systems, Electrical Automation System, and Building Automation System.
• Work with SCADA and PLC/HMI environments.
• Provide troubleshooting and hands-on support to resolve technical issues.
• Schedule and coordinate work to tight deadlines.
• Ensure equipment works to its specification.
• Create and carry out test procedures and automation change controls.
• Liaise with installation/project engineers and supervise engineering, vendors, and technical staff.
• Write reports, documentation, and work instructions.
• Ensure safe working conditions and train maintenance and operative staff where appropriate.
• Attend Software Factory Acceptance and Site Acceptance Testing.
• Maintain and develop change control systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience providing automation system solutions and support to manufacturing organizations in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with Rockwell and Siemens Automation Platforms; ABB PLC/SCADA platforms experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in communication, collaboration, organization, and planning.
• Experience with Windows Server, SQL, Active Directory, computer networking, subnets, VLANs, and Firewall rules.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and project management abilities.
• Knowledge of GAMP software development lifecycle, ANSI/ISA-S88 industry standards, and Pharmaceutical Industry Regulations (cGMP/cGLP, OSHA, EPA/EQB).
• Experience with Validated and Non-Validated Control System Documentation practices.
