Automation Engineer
What are we looking for in our Automation Engineer?
Job Title: Automation Engineer
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 4 months contract on W2
Pay Range: $50/h - $58/h on W2, DOE
The consultant is expected to be familiar with SOAR automation as it supports triage and incident response within a SOC setting. Building automated solutions for manual and repetitive tasks that our analysts are faced with. Enable analysts and responders with faster decision-making and response actions. Develop key metrics that support the automation engineer team.
Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering roles.
- Specific experience with SOAR technologies including Splunk SOAR (Phantom) or similar (Tines, Swimlane, Chronicle, Sentinel, etc.).
- Experience building automation solutions for security teams.
- Solid understanding of triage and incident response pain points and proficiency at developing solutions.
- Python scripting language proficiency is desired.
- Experience with PowerBI or similar analytics tools is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelors degree or higher.
- Certificates related to SOAR or automation are pluses.
