Trust Fund Valuation Trading Specialist
What are we looking for in our Trust Fund Valuation Trading Specialist?
Job Title: Trust Fund Valuation Trading Specialist
Pay: $23.00/hr. to $24.00/hr. DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm
Location: Green Bay, WI
Contract Duration: Temp to Hire
Company Overview:
Our client is a regional bank serving the northern Midwest area.
Responsibilities:
- Calculate the net asset value of Collective and Unitized funds daily, and Common funds weekly and at month-end, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Conduct various complex operational functions such as trading, class action processing, held away account transactions, and reconciliation to maintain precise records and facilitate smooth fund operations.
- Monitor and process all outgoing domestic and international wires, ensuring timely and accurate processing, including obtaining conversion rates for international wires and charging client accounts for wire fees as necessary.
- Coordinate with Trust Investments and outside investment managers to resolve trade discrepancies and ensure accurate execution of trades.
- Establish new securities on the Trust accounting system, ensuring proper settlement, collection of income and dividends, pricing, and taxation for different Trust accounts.
- Balance account transactions for non-custodial accounts using a daily data collection interface, ensuring accurate reflection of custodial account positions for investment portfolio management.
- Manage the securities lending process for institutional clients, including monitoring and reconciling positions, and transferring securities as requested by Treasury Operations.
- Provide oversight on daily pricing collection, monthly verification of security prices, and proactive management of missing or stale security prices to ensure accurate valuation and fee calculations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of minimum experience in trust, investments, accounting or finance
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
