What are we looking for in our Sr Enterprise Architect?

Title: Sr Enterprise Architect
Duration: 12+ months
Pay rate: $100/hr to $115/hr on w2 (Depends on exp)
Remote.

• Extensive experience in both business architecture and technology strategy development, coupled with deep knowledge of AWS/Azure. Strong background in enterprise-level decision-making, DevOps integration, and security frameworks. Demonstrates strategic leadership in cloud and digital transformation initiatives.
• Adequate experience in cloud platforms but lacks comprehensive experience in business strategy or enterprise architecture tools. May have some exposure to security tools or consulting but not deeply specialized.

• Success in strategic planning and technology roadmap development.
• Effective implementation and management of cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Seamless integration of DevOps tools and practices into architecture (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Proper use of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) in cloud and enterprise solutions.
• Contribution to project management using tools like Rally and Jira.
• Clear and effective documentation using Draw.IO and SharePoint.

• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure (for cloud management and strategy execution).
• Enterprise Architecture Tools: TOGAF, LeanIX, Alphabet (for enterprise strategy and architectural decisions).
• DevOps Tools: Jenkins, GitLab (for DevOps pipeline integration).
• Documentation & Collaboration Tools: Draw.IO, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Slack (for documentation and team collaboration).
• Security Tools: NIST, ISO 27001 (for implementing security protocols).
• Project Management Tools: Rally, Jira (for overseeing and tracking project progress).

• Development and execution of cloud strategy in line with enterprise goals.
• Integration of security frameworks and compliance tools.
• Implementation of DevOps and automation processes in the enterprise architecture.
• Delivery of project milestones on time and within budget.
• Improved collaboration across teams using project and communication tools.

• Prior experience with Big 4 Consulting Firms or strategy firms like McKinsey or Boston Consulting Group.
• Proven experience in both business architecture and technology strategy.
• Deep technical knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms.

1. Business Architecture – Expert level (10+ years of experience).
2. Technology Strategy Development – Expert level (10+ years of experience).
3. AWS/Azure Cloud Expertise – Deep technical experience (8-10 years working with these platforms).
