What are we looking for in our Accounting Associate?
Company Overview:
Our client a accounting and advisory firm in Ireland, specializing in providing outsourced accounting services to small and medium-sized businesses across various industries is seeking a dynamic and ambitious 'Accounting Associate' to join their growing team. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the management accounting process for a portfolio of 10-12 clients, providing valuable insights, and driving engagement through proactive communication and collaboration. Company based in Limerick. Must-have some experience in practice/firm.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management accounting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of financial information.
- Creation of management reports.
- Enhance client understanding and decision-making by reviewing and adding commentary to management reports.
- Drive business performance through strategic discussions with clients, interpreting financial data, and providing advice.
- Customize management accounting processes for each client, utilizing automation to streamline workflows.
- Manage client engagements to ensure adherence to service level agreements and expectations.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulations, sharing insights with the team and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Fully or part-qualified accountant (newly qualified candidates with relevant experience and potential will also be considered).
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong knowledge and experience in management accounting processes and principles.
- Ambitious, proactive, and commercially minded, with a passion for continuous improvement and optimizing processes.
