Job Title:  Application Developer

Duration: 3 Months (Possible extension)

Location:   Redmond, WA

Pay Rate: $50-55/hr on W2 without benefits.

 

Job Description:

• Develop and maintain internal business systems/applications under deadline pressure or takes primary role in smaller, low risk projects.
• 1-3 years of work-related experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technology and Azure DevOps required.
• Must have the ability to proactively identify issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.

 

Purpose of the Team: The purpose of the team is to develop an internal tool to help data scientists ship their models efficiently.

• Key projects: The key project that the team is working on is developing an internal tool to help data scientists ship their models efficiently. The contractor will be responsible for developing new features, bug fixes, investigating pipeline failures, and fixing security issues

The tool is based on Azure DevOps and Azure resources and requires Python and C# skills..

• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of:

The day to day of the role is developing internal tools to help data scientists ship their models efficiently, using Python, Azure, and Azure DevOps.

The role also involves bug fixes, investigating pipeline failures, and fixing component governance and security issues.

The role is remote and does not require on site presence.

The role will be part of a team that is in the center of the AI area and helps data scientists reach out to the end users faster and with better quality.

• Years of Experience Required: 1-3 overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree is required to be eligible for this role.
• Disqualifiers: Candidates with n/a will not be eligible for the role.
• Best vs. Average: A best candidate would have Python, Microsoft Azure, and Azure DevOps skills, as well as experience with CI CD pipelines and internal tools development.
