Business Analyst

What are we looking for in our Business Analyst?

Our client, a large healthcare provider is seeking a Business Analyst on a fully remote basis.

Contract W2

Pay Range: $65.00 - $73.00 per hour DOE

REMOTE

This position will be working on a project full-time to help build out the coding for our benefit plans. This individual will be working on a team with other certified coders and a few business analysts.

Duties:

• Tracking, reporting, and managing the status of the project work
• Participate in project meetings
• Monitor and document project milestones and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle to ensure deployment dates and project implementation are successful
• Presentations to leadership.
• Develop and implement contingency and recovery plans when deliverables are missed.
  
  

Requirements:

• Experience working in one of the following business units in a managed care company or health insurer: Product/Benefit Management, Medical Management, Appeals, OR extensive Project Management work in lieu of business unit experience.
  2+ years of understanding of medical coding concepts (e.g., CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/10).
• 2+ years of extensive project management experience using data and information to make business decisions.
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience presenting to senior leaders.
• 2+ years of Proficiency with Word, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas), PowerPoint, Teams
• PMP Certification is an asset but not required. Professional Coder certification is an asset but not required.
