What are we looking for in our Paid Social Marketing Manager?



Paid Social Marketing Manager 
Contract: Oct 2024 - Mar 2025
Remote
PR: 60 - 70/hr (depending on YOE)

Responsibilities


  • Manage multi-million-dollar monthly budgets across digital paid marketing channels, including Paid Social and Display.
  • Collaborate with agencies and in-house teams to optimize media buying efforts and achieve aggressive growth targets in a cost-effective manner.
  • Establish channel forecasts and budget recommendations, adapting tactics and strategies quickly based on insights and opportunities.
  • Direct and manage agency partnerships to meet goals and hit ROI targets.
  • Monitor and maintain key performance metrics including budget pacing, customer lifetime value (LTV), and customer acquisition cost (CAC).
  • Develop and manage an experimentation roadmap to drive optimization efforts, including A/B tests, incrementality tests, and bidding algorithm tests.
  • Test new channel/product features to identify incremental audiences and inventory to fuel growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners (e.g., Meta, Snapchat) to implement new marketing technologies and ensure campaign success.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent with 4+ years of experience in paid social or display performance marketing.
  • Proven hands-on experience managing media buying, optimization, and strategic planning across Paid Social and Display channels, either in-house or at an agency.
  • Strong knowledge of performance marketing concepts such as CPA, CPC, CVR, and LTV.
  • Highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, with a solid understanding of A/B testing, and metrics-driven performance marketing.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a creative approach to resolving challenges.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with Web & App Tracking/Attribution (preferred).
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other data processing languages (preferred)
  • Experience working in multi-sided marketplace businesses (preferred).
