What are we looking for in our Director - Independent Financial Advisor ?

Location: London

Hybrid working: 2-3 days per week in the office

Role Overview

This is a truly great opportunity for an experienced Independent Financial Adviser to join our successful and highly skilled London Team, working within the Specialist Financial Planning arm and dealing with a prestigious bank of high-net-worth clients.

You will help to develop business relationships with current HNW clients with complex arrangements. You will also be responsible for growing your client bank with the support of a marketing and BDM team.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing financial advice covering a broad range of topics including: Pensions and Retirement Planning including carry forward, lifetime allowance (LTA) planning & drawdown advice, along with Inheritance Tax and Estate Planning.
• Tax-efficient cash flow strategies using cash-flow analyses.
• Optimise Investments – Reviewing suitability of investment wrappers and investment providers.
• Provide advice to clients predominately face to face or via videocall.
• A team player who works towards achieving both team and personal Key performance Indicators.
• Will deliver a quality service to client ensuring that updates are regularly provided to client.

Experience:

• Seeking a candidate from a strong client facing, Financial Planning background
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Financial Planning
• Used to dealing with complex transactions and Ultra High Net Worth clients
• A Pension Transfer Specialist would be beneficial but not essential
• Should be Chartered or working towards
• Own client book to bring would be useful where possible
• Book size they take on will depend on their experience/skillset
• Ongoing fees are expected to be in excess of £350k

Rate/Salary: 120000
