Join one of the world’s preeminent asset management firms and an outstanding provider of global investment management, risk management and advisory services.
As a key member of the EMEA Compensation Team, you will provide strategic analysis, planning and operational execution excellence across the region.
This role will and give an eager candidate an excellent opportunity to learn about the firm, its businesses and how the HR compensation team drives pay for performance culture. The role will be varied and include extensive analytics and modelling, partnering with colleagues across the firm, and working with senior management to ensure all employees in EMEA are paid fairly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop tools and processes to coordinate and provide in depth and ad hoc analytical support / guidance to Business Partners and Managers.
- Market Data Collation and Analysis including role matching and levelling
- Act as main point of contact for new hire offer package reviews and advise as required
- Deliver training to recruiters as required
- Develop pay ranges for specific populations / locations based on market data and recruitment activity
- Provide analytical support to EMEA Compensation Team on various reporting such as regulatory, pay gap analysis
- Partnering with HR Business partners where required in providing compensation proposals / advice
- Become a ‘super user’ of the Compensation System providing support for end users
- Additional duties may include special projects, process improvements and assisting the EMEA Compensation Team in development and implementation of team initiatives
Desired Skills:
- Excellent communicator (written and spoken); professional, persuasive, credible and succinct
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- High level of business acumen, able to identify the most commercial response in any given situation
- Strong financial modeling skills, highly proficient level on Microsoft Excel and remaining MS Office suite
- Analytical and numerical mindset
- Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy whilst being able to see the bigger picture
- Strong work ethic – ability to work on their own and manage their own time effectively
- Team player – global and regional
- Ability to handle large volumes of varied tasks/data and react positively in a pressurized environment
- Proactive and results driven
Desired Experience:
- Compensation experience desired (financial services and/or consulting experience preferred)
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (e.g. Workday, Oracle etc.)
- Strong project and time management skills, with an emphasis on being organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven
- Proven experience of building strong relationships and working, advising and influencing across all levels of an organization
- Deep knowledge of Compensation approaches, their advantages and limitations
