Program Manager
What are we looking for in our Program Manager?
Russell Tobin has partnered with a premier specialty manufacturer in the Jamestown, NY area to add a Program Manager to their growing team! In this role, you will lead all phases of the program life cycle, from inception to completion, fostering customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and managing cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate customer relationships to identify further opportunities within the customer community.
- Develop new business opportunities through strategic planning, capture planning, and proposal development.
- Lead cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives.
- Measure and report program performance, delivering presentations to stakeholders.
- Participate in contract negotiations and manage contract changes.
- Create, review, and finalize program Statement of Work.
- Establish and manage program baselines and adhere to budget baselines using Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Manage suppliers to meet program objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM field and 10 years related experience.
- Experience developing project cost and schedules.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated success leading teams to achieve common goals.
- Ability to travel (10% to 25%).
- PMP® certification.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile methodologies.
