Russell Tobin's client, a leading American company in the life sciences and diagnostics industry, is seeking a Digital Marketing Contractor to join their team in Waltham, MA. This role is pivotal in managing global paid media investments, focusing on digital paid media strategy, campaign execution, and performance optimization.
W2 contract duration: Oct 14, 2024 - Mar 31, 2025 (May extend or convert)
Location: Waltham, MA (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $23-$27/hour DOE
Job Description:
The Digital Marketing Contractor will work closely with internal marketing teams to plan, buy, execute, and optimize digital paid media investments globally. This includes primary responsibility for 3rd Party Paid Media (Display Advertising) and secondary responsibility for supporting Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Paid Search (PPC) campaigns. The role is hands-on and requires managing campaigns, vendor relationships, and analyzing performance data.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage direct paid media buys with 3rd party publishers
- Send RFPs, evaluate proposals, and negotiate media buys with 3rd party publishers
- Communicate with stakeholders and vendors regarding campaign requirements, deliverables, and performance
- Own the setup and execution of paid media campaigns, including tracking, ad trafficking, and reporting
- Work with digital marketing team members to develop paid media plans and manage campaigns within budget
- Provide ongoing analysis of digital marketing performance using web analytics tools
- Identify and recommend improvements to campaign performance
- Ensure creative assets meet deadlines and align with publisher specifications and best practices
- Collaborate with marketing colleagues and agencies to launch and optimize PPC campaigns
Skills and Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- 5+ years of experience in 3rd Party Paid Media (Display) advertising and SEM/PPC
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Experience with marketing tools including Google Ads, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Looker Studio, Eloqua
- Experience managing direct buys with 3rd party publishers
- Proficient in analyzing large datasets to drive campaign optimizations
- Detail-oriented, analytical, innovative, and creative thinker
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt and pivot between projects seamlessly
