Employment Type: Contract/Onsite

Pay rate: $21-$23/hr. DOE

Role Info & Responsibilities:

• We are actively seeking a Lab Technician to join our team on a one-year contract. The incumbent will switch between direct involvement in our processing line, aiding product developers with coating operations, and performing analytical tasks to characterize samples and aid product development.
• The role demands the operation of various mechanical equipment, safe handling of chemicals, meticulous documentation of experiments, and collaborative problem-solving within a team.
• The candidate will work under moderate supervision, identify issues/problems, and may require assistance in resolving them.
• The role involves performing chemical, biological, physical, and/or mechanical analyses and tests necessary for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
• Responsibilities include compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results.
• The ability to follow procedures and methods and to work effectively on a self-directed team is essential.
• A good mechanical aptitude and skills, along with experience and specific training in inspection procedures and/or the product line, are necessary.
• Prior experience in a lab or technical environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in computer use, along with strong communication and time management skills, is required.
