What are we looking for in our GMP Cleaning Tech?

Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class organization that has an opening for GMP Cleaning Technician in Thousand Oaks, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sanitary cleaning of lab equipment (e.g., Biosafety Cabinets, incubators, autoclaves) as per established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness in restricted access labs and organization of supplies.
• Prepare cleaning solutions and document activities according to Good Documentation Practices.
• Monitor and manage cleaning supply inventory.
• Report equipment or facility issues to the Facilities team.
• Comply with safety and regulatory standards, including cGMP, FDA, and OSHA.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must work around cleaning chemicals and in labs with potentially hazardous materials.
• Proper training will be provided for safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Prior knowledge of cGMP practices preferred.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to adapt to changing schedules.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Must be able to wear protective equipment (gowns, goggles, masks, etc.).

Schedule:

• 30+ hours per week, preferably evening/night availability. Occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Additional Details:

• Location: Thousand Oaks, CA
• Position type: 6 months contract
• Pay range: $20-$22/hr. on W2

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
