Our client is a cutting-edge leader in photonic packaging and assembly services, dedicated to revolutionizing the integration of Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs). Their mission is to become a global leader in this field, delivering customized components and modules to a range of customers in various industries.

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in understanding our customers' technical needs and translating them into viable solutions utilizing our capabilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Understanding customer technical requirements and guiding them through our process and competence knowledge.
• Translating customer requirements into photonic packaging solutions.
• Providing accurate material and labour hour calculations for quotations.
• Collaborating with the Sales Manager to grasp opportunities comprehensively.
• Conducting meetings with customers, both online and in-person, delivering pre-sales and post-sales support.
• Creating and delivering technical presentations, aligning with internal teams to exceed customer expectations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, specializing in photonics.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a relevant field, demonstrating technical and commercial acumen.
• Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between customers and our offerings.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment, offering creative solutions to complex queries.
• Team player with the capability to work independently and maintain a positive attitude.
• Willingness to travel and proficiency in CRM usage, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
