Manager, Media Planning
What are we looking for in our Manager, Media Planning?
Our client, a well-known media and entertainment company, is seeking a Media Planning Manager for one of their newest streaming content brands with a focus on multicultural content. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with both internal and external partners.
Pay Rate: $35-47/hour based on experience
Contract Term: 12-months with potential to extend or convert to full-time employment
Location: Burbank, CA – MUST be onsite 1 day per week
What you’ll do:
- Lead end-to-end media strategy and campaign execution across the brand’s marketing efforts.
- Provide integrated media campaign recommendations to achieve business objectives across both online and offline media channels.
- Work with management and key stakeholders to identify opportunities to increase performance and pivot in real time.
- Manage all aspects of media campaigns including monitoring and assessing performance, assisting in strategic analysis of campaign performance, testing targets, creative, copy, media types, etc. across all channels (Broadcast, Radio, OOH, Print, Digital, Programmatic, Search, etc.).
- Conduct weekly program optimizations and performance analysis against campaign goals; manage media plan budgets.
- Provide recommendations to improve strategies, tactics, visibility, and drive results.
- Work with the cross-functional agency team to develop a strong total communications approach.
- Collaborate with marketing managers across brand and licensed priorities to ensure media campaigns are aligned to overall campaign objectives.
- Work with management and stakeholders to identify problems and opportunities.
What you bring:
- 6+ years integrated media planning experience with a proven track record of having executed successful campaigns across all funnels and channels – ideally for a Streaming service.
- Experience working with a brand focused on multi-cultural content and content from underrepresented creators.
- A deep understanding of Integrated Media Planning with deep knowledge of all media channels.
- Flexibility with the ability to pivot in real-time with creative approaches to problem solving – finding the yes rather than saying no.
- Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects in a dynamic, highly charged environment.
- Demonstrated ability to set goals, meet deadlines, and successfully manage multiple assignments.
- Self-motivated and resourceful.
- Strong communication skills with both internal teams and external vendors.
- Passionate team mentality.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as Google Docs.
