What are we looking for in our Content Strategist?

Russell Tobin's client, a social technology company is seeking a Content Strategist to work remotely on a 6-week project.

The main function of a content strategist is to partner with designers, product managers, researchers, and product marketers to plan create the content for products.

6-week contract

Pay rate: $45 - $60/hr W2 DOE
Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Create and edit content, and create style guides for Client’s Developer Platform in simple, jargon-free language using Client's voice.
• Execute content strategy for product changes while managing feedback from cross-functional stakeholders including operations, technical and business roles
• Consistently deliver content that meets or exceeds Meta’s quality standards
• Meet tight publishing deadlines with high attention to detail

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience of digital content writing and management, including using a CMS
• Experienced in working with cross-functional stakeholders to produce public-facing content

Preferred skills and experience

• Writing technical or educational style guides for consumers or businesses
• Experience within a global technology company or digital-focused industry
• Knowledgeable about marketing or communications industries

1. Digital content writing and management, including using a CMS and copy editing longform content
2. Experience with style guides - preferably creating them and teaching them to other people
3. Comfortable with technical language and customer service
