What are we looking for in our Statutory Practice Accountant?

Our client a accounting and advisory firm in Ireland, specializing in providing outsourced accounting services to small and medium-sized businesses across various industries is seeking an experienced 'Statutory Practice Accountant' to join our dynamic team. The Statutory Practice Accountant will play a key role in managing statutory accounting and compliance activities for our clients, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices. Company based in Limerick. Must-have some experience in practice/firm.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for completing tasks including limited company statutory accounts, management accounts, and sole trader accounts
• Plan completion of jobs and resource accordingly
• Ensure file completion to a high standard (Note the firm operates a paper-less file practice)
• Communicate with client effectively and efficiently in relation to queries
• Present to a high standard the statutory accounts to the partner along with observations

• Qualified accountant with 3-5 years experience. Experience working with SME's, Family businesses, sole traders also an advantage
• High efficiency with MS Excel expected.
