Product Manager
What are we looking for in our Product Manager?
r client, a global financial institution, is seeking a Product Manager | Owner to work assist on our client's Agile Team by creating user stories, test criteria, and handling approvals for all work that is brought to production environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in the banking industry.
Job Title: Product Manager | Owner
Pay Rate: $62.00-64.00/hour (based on experience)
Duration: 8-month contract w/ possibility of extension
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week
Location: 100% Remote
Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with internal and external customers, business lines, and Agile teams to drive the evolution of assigned products.
- Maintain and refine product backlog, create user stories and acceptance criteria, and prioritize stories to ensure alignment with product strategy and maximum business value.
- Act as the primary liaison between the business and Agile teams, ensuring clear communication of product vision and objectives.
- Collaborate closely with development teams in a hands-on manner, addressing daily prioritization needs, providing real-time feedback, and answering questions.
- Work with Product Management to set release dates, determine readiness for market release based on delivered value, and communicate tradeoffs between schedule, scope, and budget.
Top 3 MUST HAVE Skills or Experience:
- Demonstrable experience with software development projects.
- The ability to communicate technical concepts to the business, and business goals to technical teams.
- The willingness and ability to influence decisions for the team and leaders.
3 PREFERRED Skills or Experience:
- Experience as a Team Product Manager.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Payments.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree.
