Raw Materials Generalist
What are we looking for in our Raw Materials Generalist ?
Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking Raw Materials Generalist to work for our client in the retail industry. Apply now for consideration!
Contract: 3 Months
Location: New York, NY (HYBRID)
Pay Range: 42-47/hr depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the quality of colors and fabrics including garments and components to assure final product quality.
- Assist in the technical development, pre-production and cataloguing of all fabrics and colors through to production.
- Visit company stores on regular basis to monitor the quality and consistency of fabrics and color under store lighting conditions.
- Typically reports to manager of Textile Technology.
- Typically directs Assistant Textile Technologist.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical education, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years experience in fabric and color development
