Job title: Investment Operations Specialist
Location: Milwaukee, WI 53212
Duration: 1 year/ 9am -5pm
Pay rate: $20-$21.43/hour
Position Description:
Hybrid Role. Approximately 2-3 months training onsite. After which, in office 3 days a week, 2 days at home. Preferred days are Tues-Thurs, but can be flexible if needed
1 round of interviews with manager and colleague via Teams Video.
MUST HAVE - Attention to detail, Effective Communicator both in person and virtually, MS Excel proficient, Sense of urgency
NICE TO HAVE - Experience shown dealing with back-office operations and exposure to market finance through schooling is a plus.
Duties
Performs a variety of operational duties within an assigned area of Investment Operations.
Researches and resolves operational and/or accounting exceptions, some of which may involve extensive review.
Interfaces with Investment and other internal personnel to resolve issues and ensure efficient service to customers.
Ensures the accuracy of account statements and information.
Verifies account entries, ensures totals balance and prepares correcting adjustments as needed.
Ensures that all documentation requirements are satisfied.
Responds to telephone or written inquiries and performs research necessitated by special requests from customers, brokers or internal employees.
Responsible for placing and confirming open-ended mutual fund and money market trades on behalf of supported business lines and their respective clients. Communicates timely and effectively with trust administration, investment officers, trade services, and various other departments as required. Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with mutual fund representatives and service providers.
Minimum education requirements
Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years Operations Experience demonstrating having to work with numbers and to what capacity. Finance experience preferred. Business accounting economics, math etc.
