What are we looking for in our Data Analyst?
Title : Diversity Data Analyst
Location: NYC, NY
Pay Rate : $40- $45 hr on w2
Duration: 8 month
**Job Summary:**
As a Diversity Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in conducting full lifecycle analysis, from requirements gathering to design implementation. Your responsibilities will include interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and generating ongoing reports. Moreover, you will develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and analytics strategies to optimize efficiency and quality. Monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify improvements will also be part of your duties.
Job Duties:
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and data analytics strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases/data systems.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Filter and 'clean' data to correct code problems and ensure accuracy.
- Utilize technical expertise in data models, database design development, and data mining techniques.
- Proficiency in reporting packages (e.g., Business Objects), databases (e.g., SQL), and programming languages (e.g., XML, Javascript, ETL frameworks).
- Apply statistical knowledge and experience with packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS for data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
- Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
- Familiarity with statistical packages and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
**Working Hours:** 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
