Job Title:  Logistics Carrier Vendor Manager

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: 6 Months (with possible extension)

Schedule: Required to work in a hybrid onsite capacity (Tues, Wed, Thurs) in Austin

Job Description (including duties, skills, education):  

• Experience in world-class logistics operations with emphasis on vendor, 3PL, or service provider management
• Proven ability to lead continuous improvement projects and strong track record of customer service
• Ability to work in dynamic, cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment while demonstrating strong work ethic and a high degree of flexibility
• Oversight of supplier relationship and performance in support of Logistics and Distribution
• Identify areas for process improvement and innovation; 
• Investigate problems, find root causes, and develop solutions
• Prioritize and multi-task effectively to provide strategic and tactical support for projects, including capital planning
• Monitor key performance indicators, drive performance, and expense management
• Evaluate existing capabilities and establish new systems and processes for tracking, measurement, reporting, and analysis of Logistics Ops
• Collaborate with partners as a representative of logistics, and provide updates to leadership: Inventory, distribution, freight, cycle time, etc.

Requirements:

• BA/BS required with 3 years minimum experience in logistics/transportation or business operations analyst

Rate/Salary: $55/hr. to $64/hr.
