Russell Tobin + Associates is currently seeking a Accountant. This is a 3+ months contract with potential for extension/conversion for successful contractors!

Position: Accountant

Location: Beaverton, OR 97005

Duration: 3+ months, with possible extension

Pay rate: $32.00-34.00/hr on W2

JOB SUMMARY:

Job Overview:

• The nature of the work is focused on the monetary affairs of the company.
• Reviews, analyzes, reconciles, and interprets financial results in lower risk areas with business managers.
• Maintains a basic understanding of financial systems and data elements.
• Assists in the preparation of management reporting and analytical tools.
• Research financial anomalies and makes corrections, as necessary.
• Participates in the monthly financial statement close for assigned entity, division, profit center, or cost center.
• Monitors compliance of processes, transactions, and balances with accounting and finance policies.

Required Experience:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and minimum of 0-1 years directly relevant work experience
• Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 1 yr; Masters + 0-3 yrs; Associate degree + 1-3 yrs; High School + 3-5 yrs.
