Event Project Specialist (Part-time)

What are we looking for in our Event Project Specialist (Part-time)?

Our client, a leading global business college, is seeking an organized Project Specialist to coordinate a large event this summer! 

Pay: $20-25/hr, DOE
Schedule: 3 days/week, 8:30am-5pm (totaling 24 hours/week) 
W2 Contract, Assignment Duration: June 3 to September 13, 2024 
On site: 321 S 19th Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55455

Responsibilities:

• Event planning and execution including travel coordination (hotel, bus, flight, meals, etc.)
• Responds to emails and other digital queries and correspondence.
• Inputs and updates information in databases and spreadsheets
• Drafts and edits letters, reports, and other documents
• Works closely with other staff and supports other colleagues as needed.
• Works with sensitive information with discretion to maintain confidentiality and security

Qualifications:

• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workplace
• Executive-level event planning and execution experience
• Maintain confidentiality for clients
• Possible after-hours work during the key program dates (1-week)
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English
• Chinese (Mandarin) language proficiency is a plus
