Sustainability Lead

What are we looking for in our Sustainability Lead?

We are working with a global manufacturing client, who is leading the way in driving sustainability throughout the company and their industry.

They are seeking to hire a sustainability specialist to join their growing sustainability team, who will focus on product sustainability and corporate circularity targets.

It is a very hands-on role in a fast-paced environment and will give the successful candidate a great opportunity to be at the forefront of sustainability initiatives.

Whilst a HYBRID role, it will require 2 days per week of travel to Meath, which will require candidates to have their transport due to the location.

Key responsibilities:

• Support teams in the delivery of circularity and decarbonisation targets.
• Work closely with product and R&D teams to ensure sustainability is at the forefront of product development.
• Lead reporting for circular economy CSRD
• Promote the company’s sustainability achievements internally and externally.
• Be a subject matter expert in new directives and regulations.

Minimum requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience in a sustainability role
• Degree-level education in a related topic
• Understanding of product development sustainability
• Valid work permit for Ireland (sponsorship not provided)
