Job Title: Maintenance Technician II
Location: Hickory, NC
Pay Rate: $22.00 to 25.08/hour
Duration: 6-month assignment
Overview: Join our team as a Maintenance Technician II at our facility in Hickory, NC. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician to lead preventative maintenance activities, troubleshoot processes and equipment, and execute repairs/modifications. If you have a strong background in manufacturing and a passion for ensuring uninterrupted production, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, performing mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance to ensure uninterrupted customer supply.
- Repair, rebuild, adjust, inspect, and monitor production and facility-related equipment and machinery.
- Complete preventive maintenance at defined intervals in the Tabware system, revising as necessary.
- Monitor output quality and quantity, making necessary machine adjustments and alleviating minor jams.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting equipment problems beyond the Production Associate's capability.
- Implement equipment modifications or improvements and read prints to make mechanical repairs on molding machines and associated subsystems.
- Participate in Quality activities, communicating technical issues with the leadership team.
- Utilize Lean tools (e.g., 5S, 20 Keys) per current procedures and adhere to safety protocols.
- Complete production records/forms accurately according to company and cGMP standards.
- Operate molding machines, including set-up and processing when required.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or Technical Certificate program or equivalent experience. High School diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience with two years of responsibilities for equipment maintenance troubleshooting or equivalent military experience.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 65 pounds rarely.
