What are we looking for in our Producer?

Title: Project Manager (Producer)

Duration: 12+ Months

Location: San Francisco, CA - 94107 (Remote)

Payrate: $70-80/hr (Based on Experience)

Duties:        

• Coordinate projects: Own project plans, ensuring tasks are properly tracked and completed.

Partner with team members to resolve blockers and manage risks to on-time delivery.

• Backlog management and planning: Maintain the design system backlog, working closely with design management on prioritization and timing.
• Component tracking: Monitor the status of design system components across various platforms.

Maintain a comprehensive view in partnership with Design and Engineering management.

• Manage team-to-team collaboration: Coordinate contributions to the design system from multiple teams. Manage team support channels and ensure rapid resolution of issues.
• Improve processes: Define and standardize new processes to streamline collaboration between cross-functional teams supporting the Design System.
• Meeting facilitation: Lead key meetings such as team retrospectives, planning sessions, and cross-functional forums. Ensure that these meetings run smoothly and achieve their goals.
• Own communications: Manage communication efforts regarding the Gestalt Design System to the broader Design organization. Ensure updates, news, and relevant information are disseminated clearly and effectively.

Skills:

• 2+ years proven experience as a producer or similar role.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, being able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset with a strong ability to work cross-functionally.
• Proficiency in JIRA, other project management software a plus.
• Preferred: Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Scrum, Agile, PMP, or equivalent experience coordinating cross-functional teams
