Junior Project Manager

What are we looking for in our Junior Project Manager?

We are working with a global manufacturing client, based near Kilkenny who is looking to hire a Junior Project Manager who will work closely with the Finance, Procurement, production, and IT teams on systems integrations, deployments, and change management.

The role will focus on the continuous enhancements of how they use applications, though technically related it will be very much a mix of project management, business analysis, stakeholder management, and process development.

This role will require site presence at least 3 days per week (5 days during initial training period)

Key responsibilities:

• Liaise with key stakeholders in the business to understand, document, and evaluate technology application enhancements
• Work closely with vendor technical experts as well as international colleagues to plan development or rollouts
• Become the subject matter expert locally on system capabilities and how the business could effectively adopt these
• Lead the development of reporting capabilities through PowerBI or similar

Minimum requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, systems administration, or business systems
• 3-8 years experience in applications implementation/business analysis or project management
• Understanding of Project Management Methodology
• Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management
