Customer Operations Rep
What are we looking for in our Customer Operations Rep?
Job Title: Customer Operations Representative
Location: Hybrid - 400 Robert St N, Saint Paul, MN 55101 (2 days onsite per week)
W2 contract Duration: 3 months (Contract to hire)
Pay Rate: $20 - $21 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM (45-minute unpaid lunch)
Position Summary:
As a Customer Operations Representative, you will be key in ensuring efficient and accurate processing of various customer-related tasks. You will develop a deep understanding of both the Financial Institution and Employer markets, including their products and services. These roles are hybrid and workers will be expected to be onsite in downtown St. Paul minimum of two days per week, more if business requires it. The assignment length is just an initial date and may be extended based on business needs. It is expected that during the training period, workers will be working a fixed schedule of 8:00-4:45 pm with a training period of 8:00-4:45 pm; then flexibility w/ core hours between 7 am - 5 pm | M-F | Unpaid Lunch
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter data across various forms and electronic files, including application entry, withdrawal requests, billing, personal information changes, authorizations, coverage verifications, and handling return mail.
- Use sound judgment to research and resolve processing issues effectively.
- Conduct outbound administration follow-up calls.
- Provide support and respond to team inbox inquiries.
- Ensure all tasks adhere to department quality standards and are completed within service level agreements.
Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to navigate multiple Windows-based systems simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external customers.
- Ability to prioritize, manage time, and quickly adapt to changing business needs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Professional demeanor and a positive, can-do attitude.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Ability to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for up to 7+ hours per day.
- Ability to perform simple grasping tasks, including handwriting, paper manipulation, sorting, folding, etc., throughout the workday.
