What are we looking for in our Accounts Payable Manager?

Job Description:

• Accounts Payable Specialist tasked with managing the company's financial obligations to suppliers and creditors, handling vendor invoices, and documenting short-term debts. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the company operates smoothly by offering financial, administrative, and clerical support

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices and subcontractor pay applications using Vista accounting software
• Ensure accuracy and timely payment of accounts payable invoices and subcontractor pay applications in line with departmental procedures
• Generate and distribute lien waivers
• Investigate and resolve issues related to accounts payable invoices
• Cultivate relationships with new vendors while maintaining existing vendor connections through phone calls and emails
• Maintain accounts payable documentation, records, and reports
• Reconcile vendor accounts and statements
• Execute additional tasks within the Accounting Department.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable (preferred in construction but not required) 
• Proficient in Excel and Blue Beam/Adobe Acrobat Reader
• Knowledge of Vista Viewpoint is an advantage
• Possess a general understanding of accounting and job costing principles

Compensation: $55-75k with benefits
