PrideNow is hiring a Buyer for a manufacturer and distributor within the food and beverage industry in Jersey City, NJ.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Purchase merchandise and/or commodities for resale
• Solicit quotations from vendors and ensure timely delivery
• Engage in price negotiations with vendors and conduct forecasting activities
• Generate purchase orders, conduct audits and oversee annual inventory processes
• Utilize analytical problem-solving and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Meet deadlines with accurate and detailed results

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
• 5-7 years related experience in procurement and supply chain management
• Must be familiar with order processing systems
• Must be familiar with MS Office Suite including Word and Excel
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
