What are we looking for in our Deal Approval Analyst?
A global software company is seeking a Deal Approval Analyst to join their Field Strategy & Operations - Sales Strategy team in Lehi, Utah!
Contract: 1 year with potential to extend/ convert
Hourly Rate: $40.00 - 46.00 /hour DOE (W2 Non Exempt)
Location: Lehi, Utah
Deal Approval Analyst will be responsible for managing Non-Standard Requests for the company's VIP Custom Buying Program. This includes evaluating, approving, and escalating requests for non-standard discounting. In addition, the role will involve helping to improve the efficiency and velocity of these deals and drive process improvement recommendations. This role will partner with groups throughout the company, including Deal Desk, Business Units, Business Model Strategy, and Compliance. The candidate must also be able to navigate internal processes, work collaboratively with cross-functional peer groups, and possess superior communication skills. Proficiency with MS Excel required.
What you'll do:
- Partner closely with Sales, BU, and Deal Desk to appropriately evaluate, escalate, & document Unpublish Pricing Requests for the VIP Buying Program.
- Engage with BU solution owners to ensure deal approvals are consistent with their Pricing strategies
- Drive deal velocity by creating scale within the process.
- Optimize processes to drive continuous improvements and scale thru ad-hoc analysis and projects
Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of relevant experience
- Comfort with making controversial decisions in high pressure situations.
- Strong eye for business and analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills – able to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively to get results.
Rate/Salary: Hourly Rate: $40.00 - 46.00 /hour DOE (W2 Non Exempt)
