Sales Financial Analyst

What are we looking for in our Sales Financial Analyst?

A software development company is looking to hire a Contract Sales Financial Analyst.

Contract: 1 Year

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Pay: $50-64/ hourly

This role involves forecasting, reporting, and managing expenses, as well as providing critical business partnerships and advice to help the team meet their targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excel in communication, and be proficient in various financial and data management tools.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting and Reporting:
• Forecast sales and expenses to support strategic planning.
• Prepare and present financial reports to management.
• Sales and Expense Management:
• Set sales quotas and calculate commissions.
• Evaluate promotions and sales exceptions to optimize performance.
• Partner with the sales team to manage budget and expense approvals.
• Business Partnership:
• Analyze risks and opportunities within the sales function.
• Provide clear communication and advice to the sales team to help meet targets.
• Ad Hoc Analysis and Special Projects:
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to support the sales team.
• Collaborate with the head of finance on special projects.
• Drive efficiencies by automating manual tasks and processes.

Requirements

• Proficient in Excel, Salesforce, SAP, Tableau, and Keynote.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights.
• Experience in forecasting and budget management.
• Proven experience in a finance analyst role, preferably in sales finance.
